Our Story

Why is it so hard to find shoes that actually work for kids? We're parents too, and we asked ourselves the same question. Choobies was born from real family experiences with real kids—because we believe children deserve footwear that supports how they naturally move, grow, and play.

It started on a hike.

Choobies began on a family hike in Colorado. Fresh air, uneven trails, curious kids — and shoes that just weren't keeping up.

We noticed the same things parents everywhere notice: cramped toes, stiff soles, and shoes that slowed kids down instead of letting them explore. Add in the stress of losing a shoe along the way, and it felt like no one was designing with real family life in mind.

So we decided to build what we couldn't find — shoes that support natural movement, simplify busy days, and give parents a little more peace of mind.

What we believe

Kids are built to move — to climb, run, balance, fall, and try again. Footwear should support that, not restrict it.

Barefoot-inspired design helps growing feet develop strength, balance, and confidence. Time outside matters. And a little risk — scraped knees and muddy socks included — is part of a healthy childhood.

Most of all, parents shouldn't have to choose between foot health, convenience, and peace of mind. You deserve all three.

How this shows up in Choobies

Everything about Choobies is intentional.

Our wide toe box gives toes room to spread and grip naturally. A flexible sole allows kids to feel the ground while staying protected. The easy-on design respects real mornings, real chaos, and growing independence.

And because shoes get left behind, we built in a discreet AirTag-compatible compartment — not to track kids, but to help parents find the shoe when it inevitably wanders off.

No gimmicks. Just thoughtful design shaped by real use.

Who Choobies is for

Choobies is for modern, health-minded parents who care about how their kids move — and how their days flow.

For families who value outdoor time, thoughtful products, and design that quietly makes life easier. For parents who read labels, ask questions, and still want shoes that look good and hold up.

If you want footwear that supports natural movement and gives you one less thing to worry about, you're in the right place.
